My name is Terrilee Simpson.

My daughter died of an HIV brain infection one week after her third birthday.

I only discovered I was HIV positive when she got sick.

I wasn't tested during my pregnancy because I wasn't considered a risk; I'm a heterosexual woman and I was in a monogamous relationship.
